The Ford Funeral Home of Bridgeport, WV is pleased to announce the installation of a York Merchandising System, a revolutionary method of displaying caskets and other funeral service merchandise.
A departure from the traditional method of displaying funeral merchandise, this new concept was developed to combine comfortable surroundings and pleasant décor with a consumer-tested method of showing product assortments. The selection room has replaced the traditional full-size casket displays with fractional-cut caskets mounted and displayed into permanent modules. The fractional-cut caskets represent full-size models made either of wood or metal and cover a wide range of prices. Interior fabric samples and corresponding full-size casket photo are displayed in drawers directly beneath each fractional casket. The additional space provided by this style of casket display allows the funeral home to offer a full range of memorialization items including: keepsakes, theme blankets, appreciation gifts for clergy, musicians and family friends.
